What are my professional options to use Play Attention?

You may use Play Attention Professional or Play Attention Educational with no extra license fee. Your third option is to become a Play Attention Certified Provider, which requires an additional license fee.

Why is Play Attention special?

A growing number of children and adults have attention problems. Media attention to this has gained significant momentum over the last few years. Play Attention has been featured on Good Morning America, NBC News, and national journals. It is the only application that provides significant and proprietary educational intervention. It is also fun, easy to-use, and easy to manage. Play Attention helps children and adults realize maximum personal potential which is, in itself, a tremendous contribution to society.

How will Play Attention support me?

Your staff can receive comprehensive training for staff certification and to maximize student success. From your initial training through the life of your relationship with Play Attention, our team of veteran educators and trainers is available to help you solve educational problems and answer technical questions.

What is expected of me?

For Certified Providers only, Unique Logic & Technology will request background information and letters of reference upon your initial application. You must train to obtain initial certification training for up to two staff members. You must also e-mail student data on a monthly basis for program evaluation and assistance.

Do I have to be a teacher to become a Certified Play Attention Provider or to use Play Attention Professional?

No. Typically, Certified Providers and Professionals have backgrounds ranging from management to ministry. You should be a caring individual capable of running a small business who will hire individuals to assist you or compliment your skills where needed.

What are my costs?

There is no additional charge for the Professional or Educational license. The cost to become a Certified Play Attention Provider is $5500 US and a yearly $500 renewal per site. The $5500 fee is a license fee and does not include Play Attention equipment which is purchased separately. As a Certified Provider you will likely have other unrelated start-up expenses which you should investigate thoroughly.

Can I incorporate other programs?

Yes. Certified Providers should utilize a variety of programs that accommodate student needs as attention problems usually cause poor grades in a variety of subject areas. Providing academic tutoring as well as social skills training is essential. The Play Attention Academic Bridge incorporates academic skills with attention training.

How can I use the Play Attention name?

For Certified Providers, you may claim to be a "Certified Play Attention Provider". However, your center cannot use the Play Attention trademark in its name. Other than that limitation, your center may be named anything that you wish. Professionals or Educators may use the name but do not have rights to logos, trademarks, or other marketing materials.

Do I have to have computer skills?

Play Attention is technology that requires a computer. Although it is not mandatory, having computer skills will only serve to improve your program by keeping your students out of your learning curve.

Where do I get my application?

For Certified Providers only, please call (800) 788-6786 from 9 am to 5 pm Eastern time Monday through Friday to request an application. You will need to provide basic information about yourself at the time of the call. You can also fill out the online application.
