Lotus will allow you to practice Mindfulness. Learn how to keep your mind on the present moment. Be present. Be calm. Be in the moment.
Once your mind is in the present moment, a petal on the lotus flower will begin to open. If your mind starts to become scattered, you start thinking about too many different things, the lotus petal will begin to close. This is indicating that you are no longer being mindful. Once you are able to regain your mindful state, the lotus petal will begin to open again.
You will continue this state of deep relaxation and mindfulness until the entire flower is open.
