Dr. Meyer D. Glantz, Ph.D.
Associate Director for Science of the Division of Epidemiology and Prevention Research (DESPR) of the National Institute on Drug Abuse, National Institutes of Health and the Chief of the Analytic Unit
Dr.
Glantz is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association and serves as
a consultant to and board member of a variety of scientific and professional
organizations and publications. He is the author of numerous articles and
chapters on substance abuse, drug abuse etiology, cognitive therapy, prevention,
and the elderly. In addition, he maintains a private clinical practice in
the Washington D.C. area, supervises other clinicians, is a lecturer for
the Montgomery County Adult Education program and has taught at several area
universities. Dr. Glantz received his doctorate from Harvard University in
1979.
Dr. George von Hilsheimer, Ph.D.
Dr. von Hilsheimer earned his Ph.D. at the Saybrook Institute, and he is a pioneer of feedback technology having begun in this field in 1959. He is the author of Allergy, Toxins and the LD Child published by Academic Therapy, and How to Live With Your Special Child (Acropolis). He is listed in Who's Who (and in the specialty issues, Who's Who in Medicine, and Who's Who in Science and Engineering). Dr. "Von" is most famous for having run the world-renowned Summerlane School in North Branch, New York ; and the Green Valley School in Orange City , Florida.
Dr. David Rabiner, Ph.D.
Senior Research Scientist, Duke University
Dr.
Rabiner received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Duke University in
1987 where he also completed a one-year internship in child psychology at
the school's Medical Center. He has served as a consultant or co-investigator
on 3 federally funded grants on ADHD and is a member of the Professional
Advisory Board of CHADD. He currently teaches and conducts research on ADHD
and violence prevention at Duke University.
Dr. Harold A. Hayden, Ph.D.
State Liaison, Northeast and Island Regional Education Laboratory at Brown University
Dr.
Hayden is a skilled educational researcher with over 20 years in education.
He conducts applied research resulting in tested programs, tools, and materials
that support state and local systematic reform efforts.
Dr. Sam Dempsey, Ph.D.
Executive Director of Exceptional Children's Programs, Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools.
Dr.
Dempsey has traveled worldwide, working in Special Education programs in
India, South America, and China. He has assisted in the testing and implementation
of Play Attention in various schools in the United States.
Dr. Phil Bate, Ph.D.
Practicing psychologist prior to becoming a feedback enthusiast
